Since 1 March 2015 the ccTLD .MA has been automated.
The process of domain owner change* requires a complete filled in document with signatures of both old and new holder.
As this procedure has legal consequence, the documents are checked very carefully before they accept the change.
We have created a PDF that allows you to fill in all details. Please open the document in Adobe Acrobat reader so you can hoover over the fields and see what you should fill in.
This transfer document can be found on this link:
http://www.securitydatabase.com/client/dl.php?type=d&id=23
We also created an example document:
http://www.securitydatabase.com/client/dl.php?type=d&id=25
If the document is not signed by the current domainholder, then you should add a document signed by domainholder which states that he provides signing authority to third person, written in English or in French, you also need to include scan or photo of both parties identity.
In cases in which you are transferring in a domain that doesn't have correct domainholder due legacy issues. Request from current registrar to correct the domainholder before changing registar. We have noticed often that domainholders can't or don't want to sign domain holder change documents.
Please notice that domain holder change (transfer) procedure means that domains are re-created and creation date will be the date Kingdom of Morocco has accepted the change and processed the request, expiry date will be creation date + 1 year.
The costs are the same as a new registration, we do not provide a refund if customer fails to provide accepted document.
Do not renew a domain for a long period before changing the domain holder.
Domain holder change will be processed within 5 business days.
*Domain owner change is called "transfer" by Kingdom of Morocco.
